I’ve been hearing about Bottle Barn for quite some time — however their physical store is located in Santa Rosa which is a little over an hour from Napa so I don’t often find myself getting over there. I was super excited when I found out they decided to open up an online wine boutique so that everyone could enjoy their special wine finds and good deals!
Bottle Barn’s online site includes a roundup of their favorites, some special highlights and fun wine packages. So if you’re looking for a larger selection of wine, or a specific bottle – it’s best to head to the physical store. But if you’re up for a wine adventure, the online boutique is great!
Here are the wines I ordered:
- Champagne Lelarge Pugeot Blanc de Blancs
- Deutz Rosé Champagne
- 2013 Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs
- 2012 Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino
- 2014 Vatan Tinta de Toro
- 2014 Black Kite Kite’s Rest Pinot Noir
I have to admit, at times I get stuck in my bubble of drinking the same type of wines. Ordering through the Bottle Barn website allowed me to expand my interests and order some things I normally wouldn’t such as the Brunello di Montalcino and Tinta de Toro. Also really excited for the unique Champagnes they offer! These will come in handy come NYE!
Another awesome thing about Bottle Barn, well a few things, while you’re buying online, you’re supporting a local wine country business, rather than some big wine retailer AND you’re getting really great wine at prices you’ll have a hard time finding anywhere else. In addition, since Bottle Barn is family owned and local, they have great long standing relationships (over 30 years) with Napa and Sonoma wineries, so they’re able to get some really cool offerings in that other wine shops don’t have access to.
