Want to bring your pup along with you while wine tasting in Napa? Unfortunately not all wineries in Napa allow dogs, so here’s a list of dog friendly wineries in Napa to help save you some time searching. Keep reading for my list of the top 10 best dog friendly wineries in Napa.
Dog Friendly Wineries in Napa
Salvestrin
One of my favorite hidden gems! Salvestrin is a small family owned winery in St. Helena that’s super dog friendly, and they have killer wine – with most of the fruit coming from the famous Dr. Crane Vineyard. They’re also one of the only wineries in Napa that makes a Sangiovese! Just be ready to be greeted by their vineyard lab, Stella!
Trefethen Family Vineyards
Trefethen is one of my favorite dog friendly wineries in Napa. Honestly, I love everything about this winery! The property is gorgeous, there’s so much history and the wines speak for themselves. Grab a bottle of Riesling and Dragon’s Tooth while you’re there!
St. Clair Brown Winery and Brewery
Looking for a dog friendly winery in downtown Napa? St. Clair Brown is the place to go! Many of the downtown Napa tasting rooms are dog friendly, but this is one of my favorites. Cute garden seating, friendly people and tasty wine and beer!
Honig Vineyard and Winery
Honig is a dog friendly winery, and is a super laid back spot to enjoy a wine tasting. Small, family owned, and producing beautiful wines. You and you pup will enjoy this stop! Oh, and if you have a tasting there, you’re allowed to picnic afterwards at their separate picnicking space, which is rare in Napa!
Frog’s Leap
Frog’s Leap is another dog friendly winery that will be a heaven for both you and your furry friend. It’s a ranch type setting, with tastings done outside of a farm style house. Their Merlot is my favorite!
Pine Ridge Vineyards
Looking for a dog friendly winery in the Stags Leap District area of the Napa Valley? Pine Ridge is the place to be. You and your pup will be welcomed on to the quaint patio outside of the tasting room. I love all of their wines! Solid Cabernet producer.
Regusci Winery
Here’s another Stags Leap District stop – Regusci is certainly a dog friendly winery as it is set on a farm type setting. There’s gardens, vineyard dogs, farm animals, etc. so your pup will fit right in. I love wine tasting at Regusci – it’s a cozy spot to sip wine, it’s family run and the wine is incredible. Don’t forget to hit up the farm stand on your way out!
Turnbull Wine Cellars
A great stop along Highway 29, Turnbull, is a dog friendly winery. Turnbull makes some of my favorite wines, so you certainly won’t be disappointed. Plus, they’ve got a cute patio for your pup!
Cuvaison Winery
One of the most gorgeous views in the Carneros wine region of the Napa Valley, and it’s a dog friendly winery! Love the Pinot Noir and Syrah at Cuvaison. I guarantee you and your dog pal will be happy here.
Robert Biale
One of the best Zin houses in Napa is dog friendly! Head to Biale with your pup if you are intrigued in trying some Napa Valley Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Great people, low key atmosphere and great wines!
Before wine tasting, always be sure to make an appointment if you can and let them know that you will be bringing your furry friend with you in case their policy has changed or if they need to make special accomodations for you. I hope you found this list of dog friendly wineries in Napa helpful for the next time you go wine tasting with your pup!
