Be sure to check for brunch days and hours before visiting as each restaurant differs. I always suggest making reservations if you can! Ok, no on to the best brunch in Napa Valley..
Best Brunch Spots In Napa
Boon Fly at Carneros Resort
A Napa brunch spot classic! This cute red farm building has been slingin’ out delicious brunch for a long time, and they know what they’re doing. It a tourist favorite, so be sure to get there early or go during a week day (they don’t take brunch resos). My favorite is the green eggs and ham, sounds weird but trust me, and their bloody mary’s. I’ve also heard their chicken and waffles is a good option. Really, you can’t go wrong!
Southside Cafe
My favorite here is the chilaquiles and the protein bowl (hot tip, add the bbq pork). Their toasts look amazing as well, and their coffee is always delicious. It’s got a cute hipster vibe and is a great place if you want to chill and study as well. They serve beer and wine – no cocktails, so bloody mary fans will need to go elsewhere.
Bank Cafe at the Westin
Bank is another Napa brunch spot that I feel is kind of under the radar. It’s set at the Westin hotel and delivers Tahoe lodge vibes on their back patio. They have great brunch cocktails and a vast menu. I ordered the crab omelette last time and it was killeerrr.
La Cheve
A cute, family run Mexican food spot that’s rather new to Napa. Sit outside the historic adobe building and feast on some authentic chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, traditional Mexican pastries and Michelada for brunch. You know, after those nights where you may have had a few too many glasses of wine. Hangover cure, right here!
Petit Soleil
Petit Soleil is a cute and cozy spot on Clay street in downtown Napa. They have a fun outdoor patio with a welcoming and friendly vibe. The portions here are generous – so you definitely won’t go hungry. Perfect before a full day of wine tasting – their french toast and massive pancakes will keep you full and soak up the vino. They’ve got all the brunch classics here, so everyone in the group will be happy.
Grace’s Table
A Napa staple – Grace’s Table is a solid choice for breakfast or lunch. It’s a small space – so expect to wait in line for a bit if you don’t have a reservation. Much of their menu is seasonally inspired and features fresh produce, which I love. Be sure to order a side of their beloved corn bread.
Winston’s Napa
A “locals breakfast spot” – check out Winston’s for a lox bagel, cup of good joe and cozy vibes. Winston is East Coast meets West Coast with a sprinkle of Filipino flair. Winston’s is owned by a local couple and named after their doggo. You’ll often find local artists performing here – making it a cool, chill and welcoming environment. Don’t miss out on their raved about breakfast burrito.
Best Brunch Spots in Yountville
Brix
Big into buffets for brunch? Well then pony up to Brix because their brunch buffet is out of this world. Think seafood (looking at all of you oyster lovers!), omelette bar, cheese and charcuterie and more. If you’re looking to really indulge and have a long brunch experience, stop in at Brix. Their patio view is gorgeous!
Ad Hoc
Go for the fried chicken – the best fried chicken in the Napa Valley! This is a brunch that will fill you up for a full day of wine tasting, or cure any hangover you may have from the day of tasting before.
Bouchon Bakery
Looking to grab a quick coffee and treat before wine tasting? Head to Bouchon Bakery – famous for their breads and pastries. Get there early, otherwise there may be a line! If you prefer sit down – you can dine at their restaurant next door, Bouchon, and while delicious, be prepared for a bougie brunch that matches in price.
Best Brunch Spots in St. Helena
Farmstead
Best bloody mary in the Napa Valley. There, I said it! I think it’s the handmade jerky stick that seals the deal. Farmstead is a favorite of mine all around, brunch, lunch, dinner, you can’t go wrong. They have a gorgeous patio and friendly staff – you must eat here when in Napa. Be sure to order the biscuits.
Charter Oak
Right across the street from Farmstead is Charter Oak and I share the same sentiment here. Charter Oak is a must for any meal, but be sure to check out their brunch. Their cocktails are fab, the atmosphere is cool and the food never disappoints. Lots of their plates are meant to share, so bring some buds with you.
The Model Bakery
World-famous coffee and bakery shop in downtown St. Helena had to make the list for best brunch spots in Napa. This is for if you want to grab a quick pastry or brekkie sandwich and coffee before hitting your wine tastings for the day. It’s rumored Oprah has their famous english muffins flown out to her on the reg. There’s also another location in downtown Napa!
Best Brunch Spots in Calistoga
Sam’s Social Club
A cute, cozy spot in Calistoga to grab brunch before a full day of wine tasting. Sam’s Social Club has a cut outside patio area and has a vast menu that will satisfy whatever your craving may be!
Evangeline
This is a cute little bistro to grab brunch in downtown Calistoga – they create dishes that are French inspired with a Creole flair. You can expect to find everything from omelettes, to fried chicken, to shrimp and grits. Yum! Plus, their outside patio is so beautiful.
Lovina
This adorable Calistoga restaurant is right on the main street and set in an old house. Quaint and charming inside, while also featuring a nice outside patio – this is the perfect wine country brunch spot. Lovina is tip free – as everything is included in the price on their menu. Highly recommend the chilaquiles or smoked salmon benny!
Cafe Sarafornia
This Calistoga cafe is just what the doctor ordered after a long night of drinking wine. Not a lot of frills, but you’ll find some down-home breakfast food, perfect for soaking up all that juice from the night before. Another plus is it’s reasonably priced in a sea of very expensive wine country restaurants.
I hope this list of the best brunch spots in Napa was helpful and you can put it to use the next time you’re wine tasting in the Napa Valley!
You missed Ace & Vine. Blows these others out of the water…
Also Grace’s table! Excellent cornbread with lavender honey butter for an appetizer and then the quiche with a side salad! Honestly everything is good.
