How to Travel Around Paris
When it comes to visiting a new city or country, navigating your travels can be difficult. So, here are some frequently asked questions regarding the best way to travel around paris:
- How do you get around Paris? In my opinion and experience, the best way to travel is to walk. Yes, bring comfortable walking shoes! Or, snag a bike or scooter using one of the apps – just scan and download on your phone!
- Do you need to make reservations for the trains? If you know you’ll need to travel via train, I suggest making reservations in advance. However, you can also buy tickets at the train station, if need be. To book ahead of time, I recommend using Trainline or SNCF.
- Are the trains safe? In my experience, yes. However, I booked first class for the additional comfort and ease during my travels.
- How to get a taxi? Are they safe? The easiest way to track down a taxi is by downloading the app, G7 Taxi. Yes, in my experience, taxis were a safe method of transportation.
