Experience Alexander Valley is a two day (June 22-23, 2019) immersive experience where you can choose amongst a list of different types of wine country activities to participate in. I was lucky enough to get a preview of these types of experiences, and can honestly say, I had the very best day ever.
Ok, so a few things you’re probably wondering..
Where’s Alexander Valley?
Alexander Valley is a small wine region located in northeastern Sonoma County comprising areas of Healdsburg and Geyserville with a total of 15,000 acres of vineyards planted, and around 30 different wineries.
What type of wine do they make?
Great question! While Cabernet Sauvignon is the main grape, you can expect to find a gamut of different varietals in Alexander Valley including Merlot, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and so on.
What type of wine activities are we talkin’?
Each experience is limited to 20 guests, so they are small and very hands on! Get up close and personal with the winemaking process, meet the winemakers and really immerse yourself in all that Alexander Valley has to offer.
Some experiences include:
- Sensory tasting seminars
- Wine blending
- Barrel making demonstrations
- Hikes through the vineyards
- Bocce ball tournaments
- Library perspective tastings
- Cheese board making classes
The list goes on – view all the experiences here.
How much is it?
Either $200 for two days (2 experiences each day, total of 4 for the weekend) or, $125 for one day (2 experiences)
Where can I purchase my ticket?
