If you have a wine lover in your life (let’s face it, we all do), I’ve compiled a comprehensive list of the best wine gifts. From stocking stuffers to the best gifts for every kind of wino, these Christmas gifts for the wine lover will be sure to impress. And, if your significant other or family needs a little help finding the perfect Christmas gift for you, be sure to add these gift ideas to your own wishlist!
Best Wine Stocking Stuffers
Traditionally, in my family, we always started Christmas morning by opening our stockings. So, it’s only right to kick off this wino gift guide with wine stocking stuffers. These gifts might be small in size, but they’re perfect for every wino!
- Shower Wine Holder – What’s better than shower wine? Not much. This shower wine holder is the perfect way to elevate your shower or a nice, hot bubble bath.
- Gold Champagne Stopper – This is my holy grail of champagne stoppers. It’s beautiful and does a great job at keeping an open bottle of champs bubbly!
- Yeti Insulated Wine Tumbler – If I’m drinking wine anywhere outside, it’s out of this cup. The yeti insulated wine tumbler is perfect for summer days by the pool, camping trips, or bachelorette parties!
For the New Wine Aficionado
If you have a friend or family member who is new to the wine world, these educational gifts are the best way to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of wine:
- Wine Folly Book – This book is great for those who are new to wine and wanting to learn more. It’s written in a very approachable and fun way.
- Wine Bible – The Wine Bible is a bit more advanced and better for those looking to “nerd out” about wine. It teaches a lot about different wine regions.
- Wine Class with Napa Valley Wine Academy – The Napa Valley Wine Academy offers a range of classes, including Napa Valley 101 and classes to prepare for the WSET.
For the Wino Who Has Everything
We all have a family member or friend who simply has everything. And, every year, they feel impossible to shop for! Well, this year, surprise the wino who has everything with one of these spectacular wine gifts:
- Coravin – The Coravin is my all-time favorite wine accessory. Every wine lover needs one because it allows you to enjoy a glass of wine without compromising the bottle. The Timeless works by accessing the wine via a needle through the cork, while the Pivot is best to preserve everyday wines.
- Repour – There are few products (outside of Coravin) that I believe effectively preserve opened bottles of wine, but these Repour stoppers actually do the trick.
- Porron – A beautiful glass porron is always a great way to get the party started.
- Mark Thomas Glasses – Mark Thomas makes some of my favorite wine glasses ever. The Mark Thomas Double Bend glasses come in a variety of shapes depending on the varietal you want to use them for. I’ve really enjoyed the Double Bend Red! Learn more about Mark Thomas glasses here.
- Riedel Decanter – Riedel makes one of my favorite decanters by far. If you’re looking for a more affordable gift option, here’s a lower cost version that’s almost identical.
- A Champagne Saber – Do you have a loved one who loves bubbly? What better gift than their very own champagne saber! Once you learn how fun it is to sabrage, you’ll never want to pop bubbles any other way.
- Riedel Performance Champagne Glasses – my absolute favorite glasses – tulip shaped, which allows for better enjoyment than a flute, in my opinion.
For the Avid Wine Collector
Last, but not least, the avid wine collector might have many things wine-related, but you can spoil them with these unique wine Christmas gifts:
- Wine Fridge – Big or small, a wine fridge is a great gift no matter how big your wine collection. I personally love the Edgestar brand.
- Durand – For the one who loves to collect and enjoy old wine, a Durand will allow you to extract those old delicate corks without damaging the cork or wine. The Durand takes some practice, but it serves as a great tool once you know what you’re doing!
- Travel – If you really want to splurge, plan a trip to their favorite wine region to fully immerse yourselves in the culture! Here are some travel guides to my favorite wine regions: Healdsburg, CA, Santa Barbara, CA, and Carmel, CA.
I’m confident that these Christmas gifts for the wine lover in your life will impress every wino. As a seasoned wine blogger and aficionado, these are some of my most loved and used wine products. Happy shopping!
Cheers,
Raquel
