Baci serves everything you love about comforting Italian cuisine. Pasta lovers, rejoice—portions are generous, dishes are perfect for sharing, and it’s an especially great option for groups. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, offering a nice contrast to some of the more upscale dining spots in town.
Spoon Bar
In my opinion, Spoon Bar is highly underrated. Their ever-evolving menu highlights seasonal ingredients, so each visit feels fresh and exciting. It’s also often easier to snag a last-minute reservation here compared to other Healdsburg favorites, which is always a win.

Bravas Bar de Tapas
Perfect for groups, Bravas is a lively tapas bar where you can sample a wide variety of dishes. Don’t skip the paella—it’s a must-order. Put your order in as soon as you get there because it takes around 45 minutes to cook. If the weather’s nice (which it often is), grab a seat on the patio.
Guiso Latin Fusion
Guiso is tiny but mighty. With thoughtfully curated dishes meant for sharing, this spot delivers big flavor in an intimate setting. There are only a handful of tables inside and out, making it feel special and personal every time.
Willi’s Seafood
If you love seafood, Willi’s is non-negotiable. A Sonoma County staple, this spot is known for its fresh oysters and butterfish. As you can see – I love taking advantage of their oyster bar. Honestly, I’m salivating just thinking about it.

The Matheson
The Matheson is the lively sister restaurant to Valette and a great choice whether you’re sitting down for a full meal or just popping in for a cocktail and appetizer. Be sure to check out their wine wall. Also, don’t miss their rooftop, Roof 106, happy hour up there is always a good idea.
Sushi by Scratch
This buzzy pop-up inside The Matheson offers an omakase experience that’s hard to forget. With only 10 seats available, reservations go fast for their 17-course tasting menu ($185 per person plus service). It’s definitely a splurge, but if you’re a sushi lover, it’s worth considering.
Valette
Valette consistently delivers one of the best dining experiences in Healdsburg. Their menu highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients with beautifully executed dishes. You must try the scallop appetizer—it’s one of the best bites in town and stunningly presented.

SingleThread
If you’re looking for a true fine dining experience, SingleThread is it. Their 10-course tasting menu ($440 without wine pairings) is a full culinary journey—think French Laundry meets Sonoma County. Ideal for a once-in-a-lifetime meal or a very special occasion.
Lagniappe
If you’ve never had French country wood-fired inspired cooking, it’s a must. This cute little spot in downtown Healdsburg is delicious. Highly recommend sitting on the patio. Don’t forget to order the wood oven french bread–it’s a standout.

Madrona Manor
While not technically downtown, Madrona is just a couple of minutes away and absolutely worth the short drive. Whether you stop in for a drink or a full meal, the Victorian setting and gorgeous property make it feel extra special. Brunch on the balcony is a highlight.
Parish Café
Come here for brunch and beignets. Parish Café serves Southern-inspired comfort food and is the perfect place to carb-load before a day of wine tasting. They don’t take reservations, so plan to arrive early.

Craving a flaky croissant or a standout sandwich to go? Troubadour is a must. This small bakery is run by award-winning chefs and consistently delivers.
Journeyman Meats
Perfect for a snack or light bite, Journeyman Meats is the spot for a charcuterie board. Their house-made salumi is incredible. They also offer sandwiches, salads, plus wine and beer—ideal for something casual, or to grab some meats for a board, or an awesome steak to cook at home. You can’t beat their steaks!

And because no great meal is complete without dessert…
Noble Folk Ice Cream
No trip to downtown Healdsburg is complete without a stop at Noble Folk. This local favorite serves up creative, ever-changing ice cream flavors that go far beyond the basics. Think seasonal fruit-forward scoops, nostalgic flavors with a twist, and your favorite classics—all made with high-quality ingredients.

A great place to start your evening with a cocktail and an appetizer—or end it with a nightcap. Drinks here are a bit pricey, but they’re creative and well-executed. I especially love sitting on the patio.

Duke’s
No reservations? No problem. Duke’s is casual, fun, and great for groups. With everything from beer on tap to craft cocktails, there’s truly something for everyone.
ROOF 106 (at The Matheson)
One of my favorite places for cocktails in Healdsburg. There’s just something about sipping a drink on a rooftop. You have to try their clarified margarita—it goes down dangerously easy.

For a cocktail straight from the source, visit Young & Yonder. This local Healdsburg distillery offers spirit tastings and thoughtfully crafted cocktails in a relaxed setting.
Andy’s Beeline Rooftop
If you’re looking for vibes with a view, Andy’s Beeline Rooftop is a short Uber ride from downtown. Perched above Appellation, a new resort, it’s perfect for sunset cocktails or an evening out with friends.
